I’ll be busy going back to Ohio tomorrow so I’m glad this is up early. I can’t believe the semester is about to start. I’m not thrilled with some of the curve balls the university has already pitched to me. But I’m going back early for the first ever science camp for our incoming freshman. Cross your fingers it goes well. (at least I’ll have 4 hours of drive time to mull over story ideas)
I’m continuing with These Haunted Hills right after Brendan asked to see even more evidence.
Josh happily complied. He was disappointed that none of the evidence had an auditory component, at least not on the video recording. The evidence from the room amazed him. He’d think it was faked if he hadn’t lived it. Brendan’s breathing sped up, his foot bouncing as he watched the recording.
“Okay, some delayed bladder control issues might happen,” he said, laughing.
Josh snorted. “It was pretty scary.”
“I didn’t know there would be so much activity in the daylight hours.” Brendan shivered, real concern showing on his face so much so Josh wish he knew the man well enough to hold him and comfort him. “The TV shows always have them working at night.”

I think it’s more that the equipment is better at catching things at night since so much of it is infrared based.

And yet, why wouldn’t they come out during the day? Maybe they are out, but just aren’t visible in the bright light, and Josh and Brendan were able to seen the ghosts because it was a gloomy interior?

Oh they’re definitely there in the day. You can get great EVPs then but like I mentioned to P.T. the photographic stuff is often infrared or UV based and sunlight makes that much harder/impossible to do.

Yeah I’ve done a lot of ghost investigating stuff. I would love to try the infra red grid thing but it would only work at night. Voice activated things wouldn’t matter.

If it’s that active during the day, I’d hate to be there at night, but I’d love to watch remotely. (a safe, safe distance away)

I bet ghosts come out whenever they feel like it, but people expect to only see them at night so they’re not looking in the day time. I have seen a “person” myself several times over my life so far (3 times that I can remember) and 2 of those were definitely in broad daylight

Oh you can definitely see them in the day. It’s just that a lot of the devices are set up for evening.
