Rainbow Snippets

The good news for me is I sold a Christmas story and finished another one that I’m racing to edit through in order to make the submission deadline. Other than that the depression riding me has been too much to do much else.

I’m still sharing the WIP These Haunted Hills. It’s after the wine bar and they’re out ghost hunting.

Josh watched Brendan following Cassia through the Opera House. The latest band of actors had finished up not more than fifteen minutes ago, leaving the stage area open for them. They had spent the late afternoon at the Adams cabin but they didn’t see or hear much. He doubted anything would be on the recording. He and Cass and the others rarely had much luck with the cabin but it made for a nice small space for Brendan to put his toe back into the water.

He’d seemed bored. Josh hated that. He didn’t want to drive the man back to Columbus early but Brendan wanted reality. This was reality. Ghost hunting was not as exciting as it looked on TV most of the time. It was a lot of research and a lot of time wandering around talking to the ether.

If you’d like to play along, Rainbow Snippets is a Facebook community where we post up 6 sentences of one of our LGBT stories every Saturday. It’s been fun and you can find it here. Be sure to check out all the offers! It’s been a great supportive group!
