noh8Author Bio:

Grace Duncan grew up with a wild imagination. She told stories from an early age – many of which got her into trouble. Eventually, she learned to channel that imagination into less troublesome areas, including fanfiction, which is what has led her to writing male/male erotica.

A gypsy in her own right, Grace has lived all over the United States. She has currently set up camp in East Texas with her husband and children – both the human and furry kind.

As one of those rare creatures who loves research, Grace can get lost for hours on the internet, reading up on any number of strange and different topics. She can also be found writing fanfiction, reading fantasy, crime, suspense, romance and other erotica or even dabbling in art.

This will be my last snippet for a couple of weeks as I head to Ireland and Wales on a research trip. At least that will be fun (off set by even more bad news from work. Sigh)

I’m continuing These Haunted Hills where Josh, Brendan and Cassia are in the middle of a ghost hunt in the Stuart Opera House. (it’s a tad over six sentences)

“Brendan, want to bring that EMF reader here?” Cassia interjected. “I want to show you when it picks up on electricity behind something.”

Josh watched as Cassia had Brendan scan a section of the stage. They knew there was wiring behind that which triggered the EMF readers. It looks spectacular, exciting the novice and veteran ghost hunter alike which is why care needed to be taken. He didn’t continue hunting on his own. They had gone over the Stuart Opera House several times in the past. This was all for Brendan’s sake.

Instead he contented himself with watching Brendan with far more interest than was safe. Brendan looked hot in his jeans, leaning close to Cass as she told him things. Now that he’d gotten to know Brendan better, Josh had slightly revised his first impression. Yes, Brendan was thin as a rake but he wasn’t skinny. He had good muscle tone which was almost surprising since he mostly had himself parked behind a computer for hours at a time. He didn’t strike Josh as a jogger and he hadn’t seen a bicycle around the cabin. He’d have to ask Brendan what he liked to do for fun exercise-wise.

It’s too hot to think. So I’ll just jump right into this. Here’s more of the paranormal WIP These Haunted Hills. Brendan has just been touched in the Stuart Opera House by what he thinks is a ghost.

It was a tense moment but nothing more seemed to happen. Josh shrugged. “The ghost is known for touching people.”

“I’m not so sure I wanted to be touch.” Brendan twitched his shoulders.

“Another way to think of it is that it’s most likely a small ion wind,” Josh replied and at Brendan’s blank expression he added, “It’s an electrostatic force creating airflow. It can be demonstrated in a laboratory setting and it usually feels like being touched.”

“Ah, you’ll have to explain that to me again when I can write it down. It sounds like something my characters should know.”
