Rainbow Snippets

This week has been as nuts as the last one, midterms written and graded, new fridge and fixed porch (which caused a lot of me moving stuff around in that kitchen so they could work), my brother and his wife coming tomorrow, edits on my CHristmas novella. But at least I got to everyone’s snippets this time.

Still continuing with These Haunted Hills, I’ve skipped over the ghost evidence review (which Brendan found boring) it’s very late night and they’re all going upstairs to bed.

He followed Josh upstairs past one door that was closed where he assumed Cassia had gone to bed. Josh pointed to one room.

“The bathroom and here, this should be good. The sheets should be fresh enough but there are more up in the closet if you want to change them out.”

“I’m too tired to care. This was great fun though, very instructive. I appreciate you two doing this for me.”

“Our pleasure. Seriously. It’s fun for us too. And oh, if you don’t want to be smothered by giant cats, you’ll need to keep the door shut.”

“Considered me warned. Goodnight Josh.”

If you’d like to play along, Rainbow Snippets is a Facebook community where we post up 6 sentences of one of our LGBT stories every Saturday. It’s been fun and you can find it here. Be sure to check out all the offers! It’s been a great supportive group!

  1. Giant cats… yeah, we keep our big ones out and only let in the little one at night because she doesn’t try to smother you when she sleeps on your chest. Glad Brendan has a comfy place to rest tonight.
