I’m spending the weekend running from one ghost investigation to another. You won’t hear me complaining.
Speaking of ghost investigations, I’m continuing on with These Haunted Hills. I was just out there last night doing an investigation in the woods. This is into the next chapter where Brendan is with Josh’s team of ghost hunters for the first time (instead of just Josh and Cassia). They’re investigating a haunted house. Hunter is one of the team members.
He’d helped Hunter run cables for the equipment, soaking in the procedure and eliciting a promise from Hunter to write it up so Brendan would have something to pull from later. He no longer trusted his memory entirely. The depression ate at everything, his relationships, his creativity and his memory. It would help to have a backup. Brendan was glad this wasn’t a new job he was expected to do well in because he thought he’d fail. He should stick to being a storyteller. It was something he knew he excelled at.
A night shot going into the woods that you often read about here in this story
Inside the cave at night (It’s a recess cave so there’s plenty of night sky to be seen, go little orbs go, though this is all dust/water vapor not the supernatural)
If you’d like to play along, Rainbow Snippets is a Facebook community where we post up 6 sentences of one of our LGBT stories every Saturday. It’s been fun and you can find it here. Be sure to check out all the offers! It’s been a great supportive group!
I find myself relating to Brendan right away. Where exactly did you find my long-lost brother? 😉

This is an apt way to describe depression. I hope he gets out of the pit.
